Joyce Wellington fund provides a great space for our children

Whether you like the smell of new paint or not the progress being made in our children's rooms is something that encourages everyone. It is great to see the remodeling of our new spaces begin to take shape. We are especially thankful for the gifts that are making this progress possible through the Joyce Wellington fund. Joyce was the loving wife of Larry Wellington. Joyce died last year after courageously fighting a long illness. Because of her love for young people the fund was established to honor her memory and bless the young people that come behind her. Joyce loved the outdoors and it is fitting that both of our childrens rooms will reflect that passion. Each room is themed so that it feels like your walking outside under a blue sky with clouds above and green grass or fields below your feet. In addition to the rooms, several of our youth were able to experience the great outdoors through summer camp scholarships provided by the Joyce Wellington fund. Thank you Larry for your gifts and for sharing the memory of Joyce with our faith family.
